About Birth Portraits

Birth is a miraculous life experience full of excitement and precious memories. Capturing this exciting event through birth photography, and telling your story through timeless pictures, is an honor and joy for me. The freedom to enjoy and treasure your birth experience, without the distraction of trying to capture the moments yourself, is priceless. I will create a unique DVD picture display that beautifully retells your special day. Whether you want your birth told in full graphic form, or gracefully modest, the emotions and events of your birth will be preserved in a treasure of memories.

How this works:

(1) I will meet with you before the birth to discuss your desires and preferences. A deposit of $100 is required during this meeting.

(2) On the day of the birth, I will come when you are in active labor and stay approximately 1-2 hours after the birth. The remaining $150 is due at this time.

(3) Your prints and DVD will be ready within 2 weeks.


Pricing- $250

Includes birth photography, one set of proofs (up to 18 proofs) and DVD of pictures.

Additional pictures and DVD copies can be purchased.


Next Day Option:
Additional $100

I will come take pictures the following day when everyone is a bit refreshed. Baby has had time to reduce the swelling from birth and mom can comb her hair. These are the “prettier” pictures of the birth experience. Up to 6 additional pictures will be included in the set provided at no additional cost.


Motherhood Package ............ $450

Includes pregnancy portrait, birth photography with next day option, set of proofs for pregnancy and birth, and one all inclusive DVD that combines pregnancy and birth pictures into one beautiful story.
